Tiger Tiger

This is the story about a boy from eastern Nepal, named Ram. Simply , he was a good boy. His father was a farmer and he had a number of goats. Ram used to take his goats to nearby forest for grazing. While the goats are grazing he used to sing songs or sometimes he used to read books.

One day sitting on a tree he thought ,”Why shouldn’t I make fool of our villagers ? It will be so fun.” So he thought and thought. Suddenly , he began to shout “Help! Help ! A tiger is eating my goats Please ! Help! Help !!!!!!!” The villagers heard his voice and ran for help to the forest, shouting and making noises with drums and tins to make the tiger flee. Seeing this, Ram began to laugh . He laughed and laughed. He was so happy that he made fool of them.

From that day Ram was so excited that he used to make people fool again and again . So , people didn’t trust him. They thought he was a silly boy .

One day , as a daily routine he was in the forest with his goats there came a tiger, a real tiger. The tiger began to attack his goats one by one . Ram was on the tree. Seeing this he panicked but he couldn’t make a sound. Any how he began to shout ,”Help !Help! a tiger is eating my goats. Help ! Help! Please ! Help !!!!!!!!!” He shouted and shouted , cried and cried . No one came for help because everyone thought he was making fool of them again. The tiger killed all his goats.

From that day Ram learnt a lesson .He promised with the villagers that he will never lie and never make them fool. He said , “ I wanted to make you fool but I became a fool.”
